A heavy duty desk lamp on a pivoted arm, which has a weighted base for extra stability (weight 3.0 Kg). Even with continuous use the hood does not become hot. The lamp has a gold flex with inline switch and comes supplied with one compact fluorescent 4-pin type PL-C energy-efficient bulb.
