Picture lights

To display some treasured paintings, our clients wanted subtle accent lighting that would be easy to adapt if they later moved the pictures around. They didn’t want just to wash the wall with light using ceiling spotlights, or to install wall fixtures or picture lights.

Our solution

We designed and made purpose-built pattresses, on which we mounted pairs of ACDC 25mm LED mini-cubes with single 1.4 watt Luxeon lamps. Each cube has some lateral adjustment so the beam angle can be altered to cope with different sized paintings, and they can be adjusted on a step dimmer to match the overall level of illumination in the room.
