Energy Saving Recommended

Lampholder 2000 was the first lighting manufacturer in the UK to gain Energy Saving Recommended accreditation from the Energy Saving Trust in 2001.

The Energy Saving Trust is a government initiative to help consumers save energy. Their familiar blue triangular Energy Saving Recommended sign is found on products which are the most energy-efficient of their kind – everything from compact fluorescent bulbs (CFLs) and light fittings through to fridges, freezers, washing machines and central heating boilers. Each product has to meet a set of criteria to gain accreditation.
